1. IBPS PO

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Nationality / Citizenship:
    A candidate must be either - (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
  2. Age:  Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 30 years
  3. Educational Qualifications: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

IBPS PO Mains – Descriptive Test

The descriptive paper will be of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks assigned to the test of English Language. You will be tested on Letter Writing & Essay. You will be needed to secure passing marks to qualify the Descriptive Test, to be decided by the Bank.

NOTE: The Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in Objective Test.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2017 – Interview

  • The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of CWE (Main exam) and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination and Interview.
  • A candidate should qualify both in the CWE (Main) and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website.


2. IBPS Clerk

Eligibility Criteria

  1. I.       Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager) i. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy; ii. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB/s* iii. Desirable: working knowledge of Computer.
      Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Experience of two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution
      Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)
      Information Technology Officer Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. Experience of one year (in the relevant field)
      Chartered Accountant Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Experience of one Year as a Chartered Accountant.
      Law Officer Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience of two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years.
      Treasury Manager Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/ institution. Experience of one Year (in the relevant field).
      Marketing Officer MBA in Marketing from a recognized university. Experience of one Year (in the relevant field).
      Agricultural Officer Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Experience of two Years (in the relevant field).
      Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.       Other Important Information about IBPS RRB Exam:

      • All the exams will be held online. 
      • The tests are all of objective type.
      • All sections of all tests (except English Language section & Hindi Language section) will be available bilingually (i.e. in English & Hindi).
      • There will be sectional as well as overall cut offs.
      • There is negative marking. A penalty of 1/4th marks assigned to that question will be deducted for every wrong answer.


      4. RBI Assistant

      Eligibility Criteria:

      1. Age: Between 20 and 28 years.
      2. Educational Qualifications: At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.

      Language Proficiency test:
      As the name suggests, this is test of your proficiency in your Regional language.  The regional language is the local language of the region where you will be posted.

      The SBI Clerk Mains Examination is the second phase of the selection procedure for the post of Junior Associate/Junior Agricultural Associate in the Clerical Cadre.       7. NABARD Grade ‘A’(General)

      • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants 45%) in aggregate or Ph.D.

      Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with Bachelor's degree.

      Two year full time P.G. Diploma in Management / full time MBA degree from institutions recognized by GOI / UGC with Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
      • AGE: The candidate must be between 21 and 30 years of age.

      8. NABARD Grade ‘B’

      ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
      • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants 55%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants 50%) in aggregate from a recognized university.
      • Age: The candidate must be between 21 and 35 years of age.

      This exam will consist of an interview for 40 marks.



      9. RBI Grade ‘B’ Officer

      ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
      • Nationality: a candidate must be either:— (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or(c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
      • Age Limits: Not below 21 and not above 30.
      • Minimum Educational Qualifications:
      • A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.
      • The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters / years
